   JBSA-Lackland is no longer an open installation. Persons wishing to visit the base will be required to have a sponsor with a valid Department of Defense ID card.
   Dependents and retirees with a valid DOD ID card can sponsor a person by emailing the JBSA-Lackland Visitor Control Center at LACKLAND.VRC@us.af.mil. The following information is required:
    · Person's full name
     · Drivers license number and the state of issuance
   · Reason for visit
   We cannot support non-sponsored tours or visit requests. For more details, visit our Monthly Base Tour Program Web page.

Airman & Family Readiness

   Airman & Family Readiness, located in Bldg. 1249, 2160 Kenly Ave., is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Wednesday when it closes at 2:30 p.m.
